I recently washed my truck on a cold day. It may not be related, but afterward the truck thinks the doors are open. Does anyone know where the sensors for this are? This was my first cold weather wash because I just bought the truck, so I probably missed drying something. The truck is 2002 B2300.

the switches are in the doors, behind the door latch. using your favorite spray lube, hose the are in, under, and behind the latches as liberally as possible.

Do you mean those little metal tabs? I accidentally pulled them out when I was trying to lube them. It looks like there is a contact area that was a bit worn. Since I had them out, I put motor oil on them. I just kind of stabbed them back into the slots and I thought they were engaged. Maybe they are out of their tracks. They don't move at all unless I pry them or push on them. It's minus 27 Celsius right now and the truck lives outside, so taking off the door panels is out of the question. That will have to wait till a warmer day. Like in April.
