Hello out there can anyone tell me if I can use the door glass w/vent window from a 85 Ranger in my 92 Ranger that does not have the vent? Will I have to change the regulater too?

do you want the vent window in your 92?

i wish my explorer had vent windows...

what i did when i converted from power windows to manuel windows is i took off both doors and laid them on a piece of carpet to prevent damage to the finish, i removed the door panels and just switched everything over, ground the rivits, installed new nuts and bolts, you just have to switch everything over, it isnt difficult at all, just time consuming

Yes I want the vent, i like to crack the window so i can get air without my passenger conplaning about the wind whipping around their head.

I just recently did this. The gen II door doesn't have any holes drilled for the anti-rattle strips as they were on the inner door panel. I converted gen II doors to gen I so I had to drill the holes. If you plan on using the Gen II inner door panels you would just have to cut out the section were the vent window is. Take your time and measure twice, cut once. I replaced the Regulators but, the Regulators were the same. One of the doors had dimples were the vent window holes belong, The other didn't.
