In my '03 2.3 Ranger I had the door ajar issue, which I fixed by replacing the switches the other day. Now, I have no door ajar light on, my dome light works, and there was no chiming if I left the keys in it or left the lights on. As of two days ago, the chime will randomly decide to go off after exiting the truck (door still open,) even with no keys in the ignition and no lights on. It doesn't always ding if I leave the keys in, but sometimes it will. There's no rhyme or reason to it. It's not really an issue, I'm just hoping it won't lead to a bigger stupid electrical issue.

As of yesterday morning, my wipers worked on all the intermittent speeds, and washer fluid worked. I drove in heavy, heavy rains for about 20 minutes before coming to a red light. When I went to turn my wiper speed down, they stopped dead in the middle of the windshield. Now they only work on high speed and won't dock at the bottom of the windshield unless I shut them off at just the right time. I did a search on this but I'm still not sure where to start, I only hear a click sometimes when I turn the switch, but not on all the speeds. I took the switch apart and cleaned it but nothing changed. I looked at the wiper motor but have no clue how to get it off, can someone tell me how it's mounted? Sorry guys, I'm a girl :icon_confused: In my old Lincoln, when the wipers stopped docking I just had to clean a ground wire, but this is looking more complicated/costly. Any help is appreciated

...doesn't seem like anyone knows the answer but I thought I'd come back and say that while I was driving down the road today, my wipers came on by themselves and wiped once, then docked down where they're supposed to. Now all delay settings work and everything seems in working order. wtf??
