I am having troubles with the 2.8 in my truck, my oil pan gasket has gone bad an leaking oil badly so i have to consently check it an i believe my trans fuild pan is leakin also, Is there anyway i can get around the leaking of oil or is there anyway i can fix it without being a pain in the ass an having to take the engine out to redo it..its got me stumbled on how to change a oil pan gasket, If i lifted up the truck on a sissor lift would my front axel drop to be easyer to get to the oil pan?

It isn't the axle, it is the front crossmember that holds the engine in the truck.

Pull the engine and tranny. Get a couple friends and take a weekend and fix it.

Thats my plan, might use the tractor a boom pole an lift it out or go to my friends work place where hes boss said he can use the car lifts an drop the engine out the bottom an redo the pan gasket.

If your gonna redo the oil pan rebuild the whole engine. Give it a master gasket kit and any other things you may want to do to it. Your 2.8 will last that much longer. Its not like there's even much that wiring to deal with. My 4.0 on the other hand was a paing in the ass to pull out. I hate but love efi's. Be sure to do the seals as well.

Take the grille out, and anything else above the bumper. Give you that much more room to work, and keep things from dropping on or bumping into it and possibly damaging that area.
