I am fixing to change over to EFI /maf on my 87 ranger. The intake i have is a gt 40 intake of a explorer. I am also fixing to put a t5 in my truck also. Need some advice on both swap, you guys give me some help on this. Some helpful info i am running the tri-y headers will these headers give me any problem??

The headers will clear the T5 easily if you use the belhousing/Trans from a Foxbody.

The '94/'95 Bel/trans have the starter and the clutch fork "lower" (like 7 o'clock, 4 o'clock), which is right where the Tri-Ys pass.

Okay man. Anything on the EFI??

What do you need to know?
I would recommend getting an EVTM for your '87, finding free EVTM pages for whatever year harness you use from www.fordfuelinjection.com, www.veryuseful.com and www.sbftech.com
The Harwood swap manual ($25, google Harwood Performance) will talk you through most of it, depending on which year harness you choose.
