Hey all! unfortunately im back with more clutch and transmission problems. looking to fix them for good this time. First of all my clutch worked fine when cold but when hot it wouldnt disengage all the way. (looking over the forums sounds like thats a slave cylinder failure even tho i did that like less than a year ago) Just recently my clutch line popped out of the slave to do damage on the line itself. Im getting a whole new line from LUK from the resivoir to the slave including the master. What is the best brand for slave cylinder? i assume luk as well? this is my cart currently.

If you just did the slave not long ago I'd change the master and line before pulling the trans... (not disengaging on an M5OD is usually air in the master not the slave) bench bleed the master and line assembly before install, press on the piston (with screwdriver or something) with everything vertical until the piston only moves like 1/32". Then once you get that installed, gravity bleed the slave a little, then jump in the cab and put the pedal to the floor and slip your foot off the pedal, do that like 5 times then see if it feels solid, should only have very little pedal movement until you can feel it doing things. I did just that on my '90 a couple months ago and it works great again.

I put in Luk slave and master when I did mine

it also has a new master already. it was bled in the past and then replaced with a prefilled master. I have a new line but i dont want to put that on and contaminate it with fluid from the slave if neccesary.

important note is my clutch feels perfect when its cold but after 15 to 30 minutes of driving it had troubles disengaging all the way. this is very consistent if i do only 5 or 10 minute drives(to work and back) every day it has 0 issues just on longer drives it arises.
