I was wondering if i get a doetsch spindle lift will i be able keep my wheels that i have with a 4.5 inch backspacing? I have heard by some people that you need a 3.75 inch backspacing and others say you dont but i just wanna know who is running them and what backspacing your wheels are.

Thanks for any help.

Yo dude, good question for I was going to ask the same thing! What kit were you thinking about. I got the 2"spacer lift and so far so good. I was thinking about the 4/1 or the 5/2 kit, but I was unsure about the backspacing issue on wheels and the steering extensions.

I just want the 3" lift spindles. I already have a 3" body lift so with a 6" of lift i should be able to clear the tires i want. The thing is I already bought wheels but they have a 4.5" backspacing, so i dont want to have to buy new wheels again if the new spindle wont work with it. If they wont work i will probably just go with their 2 inch coil spacer instead.

Yo dude I was just actually looking on the doetsch website and looked under the wheel size chart on their website. it says with a 3"lift the max backspacing is 4.5 but thats up to the year 2004. so just to maybe help you. heres the page!
