My credo
I need more sleep.
Unless there are some more mods hiding under there somewhere, around here that'd be something you'd find in the scrapyard. Sold to them for $200.

If it was a clean complete BII it would be worth the $1500, not a incomplete chop top with a stained/shot interior and no doors/tailgate and body damage... not to mention FI is mucho better offroad...

IDK I think it depends and you you can get in your specific area. Here in Phoenix I have been looking for a small truck under 3,000 for my brother and have found very little for what I am looking for (Simply must be auto and have A/C). 1,500 for a fully functional 4x4 vehicle don't seem like a bad deal to me right now.

Knock off $600 and maybe so if it checks out. Can you run and maintain a carbed engine? Way different that comp controlled with all the sensors. Also check the East Texas CL.

maybe 500 not a penny more

it is simply in not that good of shape

I'd stay away from that. I can smell mold from here..lol!! Look for something better and that is not chopped up and left in the weather. The hood looks like it was left either up or left off and the rains came and the rust began.

What do you want it for. $1500 for a 4x is probably a ball park figure, but the ad said OBO! As a tow vehicle for an rv I found an old sami and they wanted $2500 and it was not in as good a shape. Did have doors and tailgate however. Just about anything that has 4x and runs gets high asking prices. You show up with less and follow the old adage'money talks, bs walks". Take a look and see if you have the mech ability to fix what needs fixin, seatas are cosmetic and can be covered but depending how can be $$. The dash go to LMM trucks for parts maybe even doors and tailgate. If its to just be a beater to haul out to go hunting in or something and EVERYTHING works (4X, Trans does not stick, does not need clutch etc) then it will be your call on wnat you want to spend. I havent looked in a while but around here any small vehicle that runs with a bazillion miles or were hot rod rice burners they start at $3K and up. Most are also JUNK.

Well, from all my searching this is about as good as it gets. It's hard to find a cheap 4x4 here, but I will go take a look at it since it's an hour away. If I can get it cheaper that would be pretty good. I will test drive it and make sure everything works. But we will see how much they are willing to come down. It's not meant to be anything nice, its just there to be a vehicle for the ranch, its going to get beat up.

Its a little pricey but has potential.

Rip the interior out and any mold concerns are gone. Put vinyl boat/tractor seats in the front and your butt won't get wet.

It has had the intake and carb changed so that part of the 2.8's biggest problem is fixed. Do make sure the ignition has been changed too. Check oil to see how it is running, if it hasn't been ran too much you could probably just Duraspark it and run it.

I would of course see if he will go any lower on it.

Posting is deleted. Did you get it?
