Does power steering stop leak work?

I got a leak above my pitman arm on my gear box. New gear boxes are expensive. Will stop leak work? It doesn't leak to bad.

stop leak can work depending on the severity of the leak, definitely not something to continuously put in there cause it stops leaks by being a lot thicker than normal, and thus can burn out motors and pumps and the like

I had a leak in the same spot on my 93 4.0. I tryed two cans and it didnt do jack. But I'd still try it if I were you because it was a PITA to fix. The seal thing-a-ma-jig would NOT come out. Had to torch it.

I bought one can of Lucas...they said if it don't work...get my money back...probably wont but will try tomorrow to see if it works...leaks not to bad
