Does flywheel have a certain position? (2.5L)

I'm replacing the clutch and bought a new flywheel as well. Inside the box it had a big red tag saying to make sure the flywheel is positioned correctly. It has 6 evenly spaced bolts, does anyone know how they are suppose to go on? Its a 1998 2.5 2wd.

Should just bolt on with holes aligned.
Crank is balanced and flywheel is balanced separately so there would be no alignment issue in that respect.

I don't think the 2.5l needed shims between crank and flywheel for proper spacing, some engines did need them

I know nothing about the 2.5 but.... Some flywheels come with one bolt hole off center by a hair, if you have a problem with getting a bolt started try shifting the flywheel over by one hole at a time until the holes match.

I just replaced mine too. When I did mine, You have to make certain cranks on the nuts to make all of them balanced and tight. If you have a instruction sheet from the package, Im pretty sure it will tell you how many cranks you have to make.

I dont fully understand what cranks on the nuts means? Can you explain a little more in-depth? Thanks
