Hello Everyone!

Im new to the sight and from SW Oregon.

I have a stock 1994 Ranger with the 4.0 in it. I would love to lift it and put some bigger tires on it (currently measure out to 28.5), and do lots of stuff to it, but one main thing I am really looking for is a brush guard/grille guard. I want to protect the front end and have seen some ranger with them on and they look great. That way I can take those really low-lying fog light and mount them on the push bar and take the plastic deal that hangs down way low off. Also, if I am considering putting a winch on my truck, is a brush guard not a good idea?

Thank you!

you can get one for a newer style truck but you have to custom fit it. no one that i know of makes a nice rounded one like the newer style for the older rangers.

westin lists one for your truck, westin classic #750133

I have the Warn Trans4mer kit on mine:

I have a 94 as well and would that westin be a direct bolt on? Would love to have a Grille Guard on my ranger

That roof rack always came in very handy whenever I was hauling my quad in the back, I had more room for stuff like gas cans, camping gear, the full-diameter spare tire that doesn't fit under the bed anymore, etc. I didn't use it too much for 4WD trail outings though simply because too much weight up high affects your CoG (I'd occasionally still throw lightweight items like chairs & sleeping bags up there though if space became tight).

The rack does steal away about 1-2 MPG, even with nothing in it. When gas hit $3 a gallon for the first time 4 years ago or whenever it was, I ended up taking it off for that reason.

Is the Westin a frame mount or a bumper mounted guard?
