seems like a pretty monumental waste of money just to end up with something that was, for all intents and purposes, already built:

I love excusions.

Ive seen centurions built on the 87-91 body style bronco's, but never a 92-96.

i like the dodge thing, and my buddy has a old ramcharger they use as a plow truck. i havent seen any 4 door ramchargers or broncos but id like to get my hands on one. i also love excursions, but the only ones i can find here anymore in my price range are v8s or v10s. if i were to get one it would have to be a powerstroke.:headbang:

There's a four-door "F350 Bronco" for sale at one of the small dealerships not far from here at my parent's house, i will try to get a picture of it next time i drive by it.

Yeh please do. That sounds interesting!

My brother just bought a 1990 half ton Centurion with around 37,000 original miles on it. The thing is absolutely amazing to ride in, if not slightly underpowered with the 5.8L in it.

Anybody witness that bad-ass excursion on a rampage in "Hancock"? That beast did a number on a few rigs. I wish ford wouldnt have relpaced them with the Expedition EL's. It would at least be better if they gave a powerstroke option with the EL's.

As much as the Excursion was loved by many, it just wasn't enough, we weren't selling enough to make it worthwhile to keep it as a viable option.

Expedition and Navigator are moving to our plant even as I type this.

Rumor has it they're BOTH getting a diesel.....along with the F150.

I don't know when. I'll let you know when I know.

i have heard of that , in the readers rigs issue of 4Wheel&Offroad , a guy had one , it was basically an f-350 crew cab that centurion converted to have the bronco top behind the rear doors , it looked badass , and the sick thing was this one had a 7.3 powerstroke in it from the factory
