I forgot what it is called but will it effect how my truck runs and lower my mpg since it is gone?

It's suppose to run from this hose hook up to the exhaust hook up.

What rig?
Kinda looks like a v6 but . . .

I thought you were posting a picture of a crack rock. - sorry couldn't resist. At least it brings your question to the top again.

is it the ERG? or whatever its called. if it is, it will lower your mpg. but not much.

I think you mean EGR.

Dunno nothing about RBV four cylinders though so that is as much as you are going to get out of me. :icon_thumby:

shouldn't lose too much MPG. you'll need to disable the vacuum to the egr valve and cap off the fitting on the manifold.

will cause MIL to come on

general if it stock . the computor is CALIBRATED for egr. . EXHAUST PUMPED IN TO INTAKE

it reduces flame charge temp. for reducing nox emmisions.

it can induce a ping. WITH WITH NO EGR

leave it stock its been engineered to have one.

or you can open up a can of worms. re -engineering is not simple

stock is simple.

Huh?

Will it mess up anything?

I figure it was that because my Bronco has one..

He basically said, "Fix it or other things might break".

That's more or less what I was gonna say too. You broke your EGR tube, and yes it will affect how the truck runs. It will let fresh air into the exhaust and screw with the O2 sensor signals. It will also not allow the engine to get the exhaust gasses that the computer expects it to have during cruising. This can causing pinging, low power, poor running, lower economy, etc.

Fix it if you can find one, but they are getting hard to come by. If you can't find one anywhere, get a block plate for the intake, something to block off the port on the manifold, and a non-egr PCM.

as far as i know you have to have that tube. Otherwise i dont think you can pass emissions. When i put my header on my 2.3 i didnt want to fab my header for that tube, but i had to cause of emissions.

A fantastic translation! The forum doesn't want to let me give you more rep, but here's a cool thumby guy! :icon_thumby:
