i just installed some 3 inch drop coils in my 99 ranger. i also installed the adjustable upper control arm bolts. after adjusting out to the max im still at -2degrees camber. would installing only the upper djm arms allow me to get it within spec? thx

More than 2 inches of spring drop will make most trucks pretty difficult to align. That's why DJM only did 2 inch springs, and then control arms for the additional drop. What degree were your camber eccentrics?

they did not specify on the packaging what spec they were but i belive they were 3 degrees. i got them from napa but they looked the same as the ones djm sells. thx

if i went to a 2 inch spring drop with the stock control arms and used the adjustable alignment cams would i be able to align the truck 100%? if so does anyone know how much i would cut from a stock coil to get 2 inches?

The truck should be align able with a 2 inch drop spring/cut spring
As for the cutting, it's kind of trial and error because trucks weigh different amounts depending on engine, trans, and cab configuration. I'd start with cutting half a coil, and see where that gets you. Make sure that you use something like a sawzall or cut off wheel on your springs so they don't get too hot.
