DJM 98-up axle flip brackets...they''l work on my 96, right?

Just looking at my order from summit I placed a couple days ago, following the tracking numbers and such, and I noticed the flip bracket kit says 98 to 0-somethin....mines a 96....it'll all work I'm sure, but am I?

That's really all I need to get going and I wanna double check since I hafta wait til weds for it to get here.

The actual flip bracket is pretty much the same on all the rangers, the 98+ just comes with an extra spring perch plate.

OK, and I noticed the extra plate makes the kit like $7 cheaper, too, for some reason....

They have the same list price and wholesale price. So I'm not sure why it would be like that.
