Alright, i think im gonna go with this kit, but i have questions:

1. The rear shocks... do they have to be swapped?
2. Are my tires too wide or too tall (255/45/20)?
3. Is it something me and my dad can knock out in the driveway?
4. Do I need a C-notch?

Any help would be amazing.

Does anyone have any pics of a 98 and up with this kit and 20's?

ya, 255/45/20s are going to be really tall for a 4/5. You can try but I'm not to optimistic.

Yes, the rear shocks will need to be changed, you'll blow the stockers in a heartbeat.

Yes, you'll be able to do it in your driveway.

Thanks man. How small of a profile would I have to go do you think?

I am dropped 6" in the back and my 28" tall tires would not work with the rims I have right now. I did put a GEN II rearend in and it is 2" shorter than stock and works perfectly. So depending on the offset of the rim, a 28" may work if your close to the wheelwell edge. If they are tucked, you should be fine up to 30" overall which is where I am headed once I get new rims.

As far as work goes, yeah a good Saturday in the drive way and the ranger will sit close to the ground.

As far as tires you might want to go down in size, something like a 245/35/20 should give you enough clearance.
