Will rear disk off a crown Vic fit a ford explorer? Thanks joey!

The wheel bolt patterns are the same, but the rotor and pad numbers are different, so probably not.

I get that you are trying to use parts mostly on hand already, but I will again pose the question, if you are using an Explorer rear, why not use Explorer brakes.

OK thanks will look for explorer brakes!

I think there is a discussion on using Explorer rear brakes disc backing plate caliper and bolting them onto a Ford Ranger 8.8 rear

It doesn't work, unless you have F4 L2. The 28-spline tubes are narrower at the ends, and the bolt pattern for the baking plates/caliper brackets is wrong.

At least in the year range of the OP's truck. It may work with some of the later ones.

Mustang brakes on a 7.5 works, but it isn't a straight bolt-on.
