Hey,
I had posted on here a few months back about some rough idle problems I was having. Finally took it to Ford and they said my MAF and O2 Senor were bad (had no codes tho).
I replaced and the problem did not go away. In fact she REALLY started to idle very rough and was smelling very rich.
On a hunch I pulled the MAF while is was going on and the problem went away comepletely. I had replaced the bad MAF with one from Autozone, but the part numbers don't really match.
My question is, do I really need the MAF working all the time? The only problems I see right now are a loss of power on some dead stops, otherwise she does good. I use this as my commute when I don't want to take my big truck out.
I am going to take the part back to Autozone and swap it out again, but I would appreciate anyone's thoughts on this.
