disciplerocks's B2 build thread

WooHoo I was for only one :thefinger:

Do you think that would of happened if they would of been welded to each other ?

hey now i didnt break :D it was my cb antanna the whole time making the noise!

I said problems, not breaking.

To me it looks like being welded would of helped . I would say that is why the instructions say to weld them .

i would probably weld them...and brace...

yeah....really is a nice build he did....

but, you may wanna fix the body mounts first.....:D

Picked up my clevis mounts from railman today and got 3 of them welded on. Also re-attached my slider and welded the radius arm extensions.

Pics! Come on man you know the drill. You know how TRS is, most of us are to lazy to read and just look for pics! Lol

Hope you are using a hotter welder, not something you want to do twice. I loved my old 110 welder, but it still couldn't weld thicker steel for crap, just tack. If you have a bottle torch, heat up the areas you want to weld before you weld, you will get better penetration if you are set on using the 110.

Thats some good info. I'll have to try that since I welded them in 20 degree weather.

+1
Those clevis mounts could mess some stuff up if they came off while getting yanked out with a strap .
