Dang that is nice, now do a SAS with full length axles, and trim the fenders out, also do a triangulated four link with those nitro shocks to hold it up.
oh and don't forget the cage and rub rails, also be sure to post a link to the build.
Ok so some updates on whats been going on here outside of my Focus build.
Working on pulling the motor/trans in the Mounty then selling the shell right now.
Traded my Ranger for an 94 F150.
And I picked this thing up today for the B2. Will be getting a Sterling for the rear. Then the D44 and the Mounty trans will be going in the F150. AWD with lockouts.
What I did today. Had a couple oops moments. I ripped the winch guide off the B2, my hoist tipped with the motor in the air and busted the oil pan open, and I blew a power steering line on the F150. But I got what I wanted to accomplish done.
This is my plan for the CAD front axle. I have seen write ups on how to make your own kit with a throttle choke cable. This way I can weld the front, save some $$, and still be able to disconnect the passenger side to help turn. And I will be able to do it from inside the cab.
Picked up a Sterling. 4.10 L/S. I would have gotten 2 more wheels for a set of 4, but they wanted $15 a piece for 8 lug steel wheels. I talked them down to $10 a piece for the 2 on the axle.
