If this has been answered please direct me there. Do I need a spindle nut socket to remove the rotor and will I need to replace bearings as well? Thanks

PS Anything I should look out for will doing this?

I don't think there is many here that even work on Mazda 4x4 it is mostly ford so don't be surprised if you don't get any answers on your question since this is manly a ford site.

It's a Mazda B4000, built by Ford for Mazda(it's just a Ford in Mazda clothing) and there are lots of Mazda people on this site that's why they have a Mazda specific section in the forum to post to.

A 94 Mazda IS a Ranger. Yes there is a socket. I'm assuming you have auto hubs and those nuts use a 2 3/8 in. hub socket. Don't forget to remove the retainer that is in the groove in the spindle. Most of the time those nuts are loose enough to remove by hand or with a big pair of pilers if you can't come up with the correct socket. Inspect the bearings for pits and discoloration from excessive heat, if they look ok, you're probably safe re-using them.

Get a tube of grease to re-pack your bearings properly, and some dust seals for the back of the rotors. Those are two things I always freakin' forget when I go to do this job on that style front end.
