Well i went to check the oil on my 4l ohv ranger, and while i was pulling the stick out the pipe that guides it came out too ... The pipe is bent at an angle and im unable to see where the hell this thing goes?!? Can i still drive with this out? and does anyone know where to thread it back threw? I pulled it from between and the block. But i donno if this is wher its supposed to go. Thanks!!

It doesnt thread in, just presses in...theres a hole right above the oil pan mating surface. Takes a while to find.

Make sure you align the upper bracket on the dipstick tube to the stud that retains it before pushing it all the way in or you'll have to pull it back out and restart it again.
