Hey guys!
Need some advice here, so ive been looking at alot of build threads and its starting to inspire me to brainstorm for my truck and get something going on it. Ive got a 1988 ranger 2.9L 4x4 its got 317,xxx kms on it so its starting to get pretty seasoned lets say. i was searching around on good ol craigslist and i found a 1989 2.9L with 138,xxxkms on it for 200 bucks and i was thinking about picking it up and cleaning it and painting it and such and then swapping it in. and i also found a complete D35 front end 3.73 gears and almost new warn hubs (hubs costed $250+) for 200 bucks, ive got the D28 so i was just wondering if it was worth it to pick this up and swap it in?

Thanks alot!! :icon_cheers:

The d28s are pretty weak if you can get rid of it I would.I wouldn't go through the trouble of putting in a take out 2.9.If you do the work and worry might as well be 4.0 it's not just more power it's a better driving experience.
