Ok, so first of Moderators feel free to move this if there's a better location.

I have 2 Toyota Tundras in my family and my 84 Bronco 2. So I am a member of TRS and a member of http://www.tundratalk.net. Someone on there was ranting about people always posting the same questions all the time and not doing a "search". So I chimed in and said why not create a tech section for those items that everyone keeps wanting to mod, and also create a DIY repair section as well. I mentioned coming and browsing by TRS to get an idea of what I mean since TRS has the biggest and bet laid out tech section I have ever seen. So of course they start in on all the Ford sucks BS. I reply back with so 9 pages of whining about people posting the same questions over and over again, and yet you resort to bashing another brand of vehicle rather than actually focusing on the problem and a potential solution.

So those of you on this forum that see double posts of very common things people do remind them of the Tech section we have hear and not every forum is as well thought out and designed like TRS.

TRS has been around since 1999 or thereabouts LOL. TRS is by far the best thought out and planned forum I have ever seen.

Ok, anyhow, rant over. :dunno:

Well, I don't know about other brands but I see the Tech Library info posted on several other Ford sites, best I've found so far. We are even open to people doing Cheby V-8 swaps and don't catch much flack.

I've noticed this forum is very well open to other vehicle brand owners. Not to mention the huge amount of knowledge everyone here has. Course the Ranger and Bronco 2 vehicles have been around for 20+ years so many people have one, had one, work on them etc. Can't say that about the new Toyota's very complex electronics that nobody understands, I don't even bother opening the hood on my Tundra, there's nothing in there I can really do myself anyhow without having a computer to hook up to the truck.

This is the only ford forum I'm a member of and just thought the tech library was a great feature, it has saved me a lot of headaches and asking questions.
