My 97 is having almost typical clutch issues. It's not losing fluid, but it seems like I'm getting air in the hydraulics occasionally. It got a new OEM Ford Slave and TO assembly when I did the clutch a few years ago. I bled the daylights out of it to get new fluid through the system. A few months ago the original master was feeling odd so I changed it. Bench bled, installed, all was fine. Within a week or so I had air back in the system. Pulled the master again, bench bled, all was fine for several days, now it's got air in it again. Pumping the pedal gets it to working, but I'm tired of pumping the pedal every time I want to drive somewhere. Is there a chance the seal at the line at the slave is sucking air now that it's cold out? I've tried to get it apart with no luck, guess I need to get the right tool for the job. It's not leaking anything anywhere I've been able to see. Suggestions???
