alright guys i got a brand new 2.5 throttle body complete with iac tps all hoses and brackets as well. it is for a 99 ranger 2.5 but i have a 96 ranger 2.3 now i know the only mechanical differences are the rods and pistons but does anyone know if it will just bolt on and go and is the throttle bore any bigger all info is helpful thanks

The bore is the same but there's an extra hose fitting underneath the throttle body that goes somewhere on the block. It's where the engine temp gauge is on your 2.3 (drivers side), I had to remove the metal tube housing from the 2.5 block and install the temp gauge from my 2.3 when I did the 2.5 swap.

I'm not sure wether or not you can just plug it.
