difference between 04 sohc and 93 ohv crank dampers

My 93 ohv is puking the rubber out of the crank damper, I just got a 04 sohc damper given to me, I can't find any obvious reason why I can't use it from the info i've found Are the number of vanes on for the crank sensor different? or is the ID different? I know they use the same front seal through 04 so the OD isn't an issue. any info would be neat

Upon further research I have found out that the number of vanes are the same and the placement of the missing vane is correct (crank sensor 6 teeth out from missing vane at cyl 1 TDC) I'll measure up all the crucial dimensions off of another bad damper I have and hopefully install this thing soon.
