ok i tried the bearing puller/bearing knife, wont budge.:icon_confused: any ideas yall?

If the bearing is junk....air hammer

I had a bad pinion bearing on a mustang once, i put the whole axle under a 12 ton press and it didnt move, if the air hammer doesnt do it a sledge hammer will. Good luck

are you talking about after you took the carrier out and pinion out, removing the races? or removing the bearing from the pinion itself? if so, press and bearing separater. a shop will usually do it for a couple dollars if you bring just the pinion in.

air hammer wrked out. It was the bearings I was fightin with, The seperator wouldnt budge em, but the air hammer with a curved chisel worked b*tch*n no tooth damage and bearing is still intact for a mock up bearing, thanks every one, now I just gotta stick this thing back together, and back under the bII.
