Did they shrink the cab since 2005?????

Me and my Brother Both just bought new 2011 Ford ranger Sport 4x4, we both upgraded from 2005 ranger Edge 4x4. pulled into the driveway, expecting to swap aftermarket audio systems back into the new trucks...The MTX4500 box will not even squeeze in behind the seat, back in 2005 there was not TONNES of room, but definately enough to play with (behind the drivers seat). As well as a wedge style box with a JL12W3v3 use to fit beautifully behind my seat....not even close to fitting........WHAT IS GOING ON!!!!!???? ANYONE ELSE WITH THESE ISSUES????

Yeah i had that same problem i had a 09 ranger and i had 2 12s in a box in the back and it fit great but now i have the 2011 ranger and it barely fit back there thats because in the 09 it had the fold down seats that came from the side and the 11 ranger has the ones that fold staright down and takes up alot of space so i had to use the seats on the 2011 as a support works great!
