im thinking about taking a long drive to look at a bronco ii and the guy says that it has a four speed transmission. is it true?

the A4LD would be considered a four speed, are you talking a auto or manual

If its an auto its an A4LD trany. Know how to check the transmission fluid for signs of damage. Be picky with it.

A TK4 could have been swapped in... though he may be one of those tards that calls a 5 speed a "4 speed with overdrive."
