the factory ashtray was ****ed up and i got tired of it hitting me in the hand when i grab a gear so i through it out and got an idea...took some cutting but she went in eventually...

i have a 12v outlet i use too much next to my ashtray ( which i don't think i have ever had open )

plus, with mine bein auto, and havein' a center console...i mounted it to the front of it....

can't wait to see it lifted on some bigger tires.......and at Turkey Bay:icon_thumby:

its not in the pics but i have a dual 12v outlet mounted to the bottom of the cb...

got the PA speaker hooked up also just need to pickup a new piece of coax and get my whip mounted and ill be good to go

oh and i had a flat today (turned up to be a cracked wheel and not the tires lol) so i went ahead and threw on some 31's i had laying around..that was after i had the crack welded

hey, Slovo, you any good at tuning CB's ?

got a Cobra from my dad, had a mag mount ant.....but i never could get more than 150ft of reception....:dunno:

anyways, i went out and bought a 4' whip and mount ( mounted it to my tool box )

haven't had the chance to test it out.....if ya can help me would be appreciated:icon_thumby:

im not that good with them really...we have a cb shop here in town and i had mine peaked and tuned for 20 bucks and it helped out a ton everything is twice as clear and at a pretty good distance

Thats where I put my CB in my old 94.:icon_thumby: I trimmed up the heater duct a little to slip it back in further though. The tricky part about mine was that the mic plugs in on the side.
