I swapped out my 2.3 for a 2.5 and it's basically a bolt in deal.
I'm having a problem with a misfire at idle, engine rpm's not increasing when the A/C is turned on. Every few days or so (so far) the CEL will come on and it will throw code P0340 (cam sensor circuit).
It also had this code before the swap began which leads me to believe it's in the wiring somewhere. I have the complete wiring harness and computer from the 2.5 and was wondering if I should just swap out the whole harness with the computer.
Does anyone know where to look for this code? Thank you soooo much.
