Alright,
I finished up doing a 3-2 conversion today on my 99 ranger xlt. Everything went very smoothly. I used a write up I found on therangerstation. Very simliar to the one we have involving the T tap but I didn't want to bother with the T plug. Wiring etc was the same and I have the 5-4 converter from hoppy.
As of now here is how things are.
Brake lights work.
Reverse lights work (one is out but I think bulb is bad).
Turn signals hyperflash (getting an EP23 flasher).
Parking lights Work.
REAR HAZARDS DONT WORK!??!? (Front hazards work perfectly)
This is why I'm stumped. EVERYTHING else works perfectly after the conversion. The blinkers fast blink when the brake pedal is depressed but I knew that would happen until I upgraded to a heavy duty flasher. But why are the hazards not working in the rear lights? I thought these trucks had seperate flashers for hazards and blinkers???
