Anyone going to the Detroit Auto Show this month? It's January 14-28, 2018 at the Cobo Center.

Too far for me.

Ya, I agree. I'm in the same boat. Texas to Detroit is a long drive.

Maybe I'll get some red sneakers, start click my heals together, and say "There's no place like the Detroit Auto Show".

Think it will work?

I wonder if I'd see the Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, Scarecrow, and Toto there?

Hmmm......

I mean I can always fly over there but pretty sure I'd get shot down over Detroit.

Dude, I forgot you're a pilot!

So what you're saying is..... we should fly to the Detroit Auto Show......

Detroit is out for me too, but I'll be heading to the Harrisburg show at the end of the month. Already have my tickets and everything.

It would be a fun trip, and I would actually like to go however being winter and not being IFR rated makes things a bit difficult.

One thing about being in DFW, there is a shit ton of air traffic!

I live in Roanoke, so I get to see navy jet fighters flying around all of the time.

Yep, I just bought an ADS-B in, and basically the class B airspace around DFW is a giant blob of blue arrows (the planes).

It's pretty crazy. When you drive by DFW you can see a non stop line of jets coming in one after another without about a 2-minute est interval.
