This is more like someone complaining about people calling a Corvette a sports car rather than a Corvette.

I said the supercab being Ford's extended cab, more people will recognize the second name.

I've lived in the south my whole life. From Arkansas, to North Carolina, to Florida. We don't even use " (city) blocks" as a unit of measurement. we just say "Down the road" or " Around the corner"
Down the road is a bit further distance than around the corner. If we say "up the street", we probably mean within a mile or two.

For me - ANYTHING not a single cab 2 door truck, is an " Extended cab" unless it has 4 full size doors, then its a Four Door Truck.

My Datsun { pronounced DOT sin } IS a Single cab.
