Decent headers?

My projects came to a screeching hault yesterday when I blew a head gasket on my way home.
Since I now have to tear down my heads to check them out abd replace the gasket. I might as well pick up a set of headers since I'm already installing new injectors and a new upper plenum.


does anyone know of a descent brand headers for the 4.0?

jba, bbk, hedman, borla, pacesetter. i run pacesetters on my 2.9. they are probably going to be your cheapest option, and i haven't had any issues with mine, but a lot of guys will say to spend the extra money on jba's. there is tons of info on trs if you search

Im pricing a set of pacesetters for mine. Hope they dont cost too much.

No personal experience but I do know a guy who has Hedmans on his 94 and they are crap. Warped flanges, blown gaskets and the flanges don't seal correctly at the y-pipe.

I've got Borlas. I love them. Even after all my 4.0ls are gone I'll still have them, "just in case".

Too bad they're not made anymore.

I vote JBA have them on a SOHC 6 years racing no issues and no gaskets! not cheap.
