Dealer prices for factory air- are we getting hosed?

He's not kidding, I just got my truck back from the dealer for a halogen headlight gas leak, they had to recharge it as well.

Make sure you switch back to summer air as well since winter is over. You dont wanna mess up your tires by just forgetting to do that.
Ahh wise advice, but where will we get a supply of summer OEM air? I was thinking that perhaps the bone yards could be checked, man just think of how much cash has been thrown away already.

why dontcha use some a that air in yer head to inflatecher tires, sounds like ya got plenty up there...

Looks like yer skeeered already I see in your pic that you are gaurding yer tires and even hired a watch dog which is a wise move cause your sure not going to outrun anyone with that 3.0!

so....what ur telling me is i can break into the dealer and steal the dealers air and sell it on the black market at a considerable markup inorder to keep fords warranty valid.....sweet LOL :icon_hornsup:

well, its better then the time i was up at the dealer to get a part, there was a lady waitin in the service department becuase her paint had a scuff on it from someones shoe or something, well, after about 10 minutes they come out with the bills, 49.99 for 16oz of Elbow Grease.......she was ACTUALLY billed for elbow grease....she didnt know any better.....so i just sat there chuckling to myself as she payed for then to just work it off.....

Ahhh but don't mistake factory air with incompatible dealer hot air- which by the way still seems to be of ample supply, you might blow something up real good!

ive also seen hot air install 4 turbo's on a 96 powerstroke lol

Some jerkoff service writter is jerking your chain...

OEM, "ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURE", their telling you that FORD makes their own tire AIR? :pissedoff:

Cosco tire stores use only nitrogen, no compressed air.

Of course all major manufacturers specify and make their own air, tire air doesn’t grow on trees you know! I have heard rumors that Ford get's their air from a secret location uninhabited by man where the tire air is fresh as flowers and very cold . That cosco place... they only sell in bulk though right? That's fine if you have like 5 trucks an atv and a wheelbarrow.
