Dealer Location code

After eleven great years with my '96 Mazda B3000, I'm having to give it up due to an unfortunate accident last week (a young girl lost control of her car and took out my passenger side from the door on back). The insurance company is totaling it and it would most like take a lot more money than I care to spend, at one time, to fix it up so I can drive it.

Therefore, I am going to purchase its cousin, a 2010 Ford Ranger XLT. The dealer found one that suits me but I want to see a picture of it, or at least, see what the sticker looks like. The piece of paper the saleslady showed me has what I believe is the Dealer code of "44A 605".

Does anyone know where I can find out what dealership has this vehicle? I live just north of Detroit and she told me they can search dealerships in a 10 state area.

Well 44A 605 doesn't sound like a valid P&A code. The sheet should have the name of the dealer its at, but I might be able to find it by the VIN if you have that.

Hey Jim, thanks for looking at this.

I've sent you a PM with the VIN. Hopefully you can locate the dealership this is at. Sometime next week I'll be setting the ball in motion to either buy this one, if it meets my expectations, or finding another one that does.
