So my 01 parts truck has the graphic/black interior, I want to swap everthign to my 97, (nasty gray missing most of everthing) My biggest concern is the dash, Is there a write up somewere about removeing one?

drop the column, unplug it, unplug the three big plugs on the firewall by the pedals, unplug the connectors under the passenger kick panel, pull the A pillar trim, remove the one bolt holding the brace by the gas pedal, pop off the black trim at the windshield. Remove the 2? bolts under there, remove the fuse panel cover and remove the one or 2 bolts there, then one more bolt in the passenger door jam.

The cluster, Radio, ect stay with the dash and don't need pulled. The 95+ dash is one of the easiest dashes to pull for sure. If you are 5 speed, I recommend pulling the shifter so it doesn't get in the way.

The whole dash should be free after that. The HVAC plenum will stay on the firewall as will the column support I think.
