I was an idiot and kinda damaged my own dash. It's barely noticeable and is located in the area to the left of the glovebox. Its a small crack in the finish and was wondering if there was a way to repair something like this. Otherwise, I'll try to forget about it and just leave it there, as it is really not noticeable if you are sitting in the seats.

I have a project ruck right now i am working on. I don't really know what to do about my crack in the dash either. I thought about using silicone to bridge the gap and texture it like the rest of the dash with a brush or something, and find a paint to match. That's just what i thought, have no idea if it would work. heck there might be dash repair kits, i don't know!

they used to sell dash repair kits. came with different colors to match most plastic dash's. it amounted to some adhesive filler/hardener, then plastic paint in the colors, brush, mixing tool, etc. haven't seen them on a shelf for quite awhile now. i'd just try a good PAINTABLE adhesive filler/sealer. then paint it to match the rest of your dash.
good luck with your repair.

they fill the hole with bondo here, then they texture it and get some paint prepared to match the dash color, they make the paint spill some thick drops so the paint gets a nice texture too. it looks good, but the fixed area ends up solid, not as the soft material the dash is made of.

Most people around here just get a dashmat, lol.

be careful about silicone, some of it, paint won't stick too.

I'm going to use Bondo on mine and I'm not worried about the color, because I'm going to dye it black, the tan doesn't go with my plans.
