Anyways I have updates....

Ilk be replacing the front axke shafts soon but I'm selling my Mustang efi setup to a coworker for his monster miata car and using that to help fund a bolt on efi setup fron FiTech the GoStreet which is good up to 400hp. Currently have a rebate going for $75 and selling my mustang efi setup for $350 plus selling a few other things laying around, I have half the cost covered which is good enough to throw on a credit card.

Well I did it. Yes it's on back order but worth it.

Woo hoo!!!

I read that sone said it won't work with a dual plane intake, like what I have, but I messaged summit before hand and they said it will work perfectly with it.

It's killing me that is on back order.

In other news I was going to start work on my truck but I lost my lug wrench and I don't have a socket to get the wheel nuts off so tomorrow I'll be going to go get that stuff.

Aww bummer!!! Harbor Freight has decent impact sockets

I don't have an impact, I'm all hand/manual tools.

But you can get a beaker bar and use impact sockets so you don't brake the sockets.

+1

I have had impact sockets for years, I think HF has a decent sized pack of them (metric or standard) for $25 a thing.

I just got an impact (corded electric) a year and a half ago, have had cheap impact sockets around forever... if you have hand tools thing of them as indestructible if not a tad clunky deepwell sockets. :icon_thumby:

I didn't want to take a chance on 23 year old technology but also by the time I sell things off, I'll only be $300 into the new efi setup. Also be easier on me in the end if I decide to do any upgrades, it can compensate for them. I only paid $175 for the mustang setup so I'm coming out on top in the end on it. I'm coming down to where my truck will be more of a DD on days that I can do without a/c and less off-road time. My motivation to do a major fix on it was terrible and for a year it just sat because I didn't have the time. This will be one of the last big things I do it before I say it's "complete" and where I want it. I would like to think that I could put a/c in it one day but I have two other vehicles with that creature comfort.

Also my daughter turns 3 years old today and time to spend more time with her and less on my truck. I'm going to still do projects, but they will be small things to mess around on like my tillers, chainsaws, etc...
