I paid $40 for everything so I figured I got a good deal.

That's where I mounted mine too! If the seats sat higher or the trans tunnel wasn't so high I would put it under the seat. My girlfriend likes to ride in the middle next to me or I would put bucket seats in and build a center con sole. I'm thinkin about putting it on the roof. I've seen a gun rack that held one rifle and was a cab width storage compartment about 6-8" deep, with a 4" opening. It looked pretty convenient.

Rowdy, you have a pic of that by chance or a link to it? That sounds pretty convenient

No I saw it in someone's truck. I'll see if I can't find one online.

I have a roof console thing in my truck that has a clock, git it from an 84 ranger so the roof is a no go.

Really got nothing done this weekend other then buying a grill/smoker, getting 2 free snow blowers (need a little work) my spare doors with vent windows, and was given but I said to my dad I'm borrowing indefinitely, his 1500psi gas powered pressure washer that had been used 5 times in the last 17 years, just needs the trigger looked at, was leaking a bit when used last 6 years ago. Got to drive the truck for doing all of that though.

How's it goin bud? What you been up to?

Having my little girls first bday party this weekend so I've been busy getting everything ready for that. Other then that, time and good constant weather to start work on the truck but also waiting to work in the truck till my dad moves out of his house just incase he needs help/things I can have from him to get to my house, such as the front porch swing.

Oh well that's a good reason not to be workin on it! Pretty important stuff!

Shift from first to second didn't happen, broke on me so I guess I'm either after a new one (aluminum) or just be cheap and gorilla glue it back together or even jb weld.

you now have a welder, get some bar stock, and a few nuts, and weld and make one.

Robert

sent using a few loose nuts and a marble.

One guy on Facebook chimed in saying he has an aluminum Hurst t-handle knob, so after a few minutes of talking and $10 later, I should have it soon enough.

I wish I could actually get to welding what I want but tomorrow but I'm celebrating my baby girls first birthday and the next weekend is a ranger meet. But soon after that the garage is going to be housing my dad's 98 ranger due a dead transmission, but the reason why is because he is losing his house (thanks to my soon to be ex-stepmother that is going to jail) so he well be fixing it here.

Damn that's a bummer he's losing the house! It's always sad when someone gets screwed over cuz of another person.
