dangerranger1983 build

Adjusted the float setting and got the fuel pressure up to 5psi right after without any over flowing. Took her for a test run, no stalling, stuttering, chugging choking, etc...just a high idle that I got to tone down with the simple turn a of a screw. I have yet to try out first gear but has good get up and go in second and sounds great with just the straight pipes.

:yahoo: got the old holley adjusted!

"adjusted" yes, enough to run, but not fine tuned yet.

Got the front all back together. Dont have the fog lights wired up yet, had to use the relay for something else. Visually, nothing screams at you that it has had a v8 swap done to it.

The bottom of the rad actually doesnt hang to far below the bumper, but I will still make a guard of some kind for it.

Just be real nice to it?????? With granny low first and 4lo, I doubt i would even need to touch the gas pedal. My final crawl ratio is now 65, almost twice as low as what I use to have so no need to romp on anything. But as of right now, no front driveshaft since the trans crossmember is in the way meaning I need to make a new one.

Just ordered a dual inlet/outlet muffler. Should be to me on sep. 4th through the 10th.

Also having a trans with such low gears, I may have to get a rear end with different gears in it, something like 3.08's

Just get larger tires. Lol

Wouldn't it be easier to just get a 5 speed transmission, then try and swap out the front and rear diffs????

Where's the exhaust coming out until you get the muffler?

I couldn't get a hold off an m5od-2. Will I could have but I didn't want the bw4406 transfer car behind it, all they had were f250s at my jy with that combo.

I'm going to have to switch out my rear end anyways so I figure why not try to find one with a higher set of gears. I'll see what jeeps and rangers have in common gear wise and go from there.

Koty, I'll get you a picture of where my exhaust are now.

Oh, what the heck, just go with full width axles, you know you want to, that way you should be able to get any gear you want.

a good set of 60's front and rear, that's what you want, deep down inside, you know you want to.
