Enjoy it for what it is. Why does everyone think that you should be able to drive 80mph and stop in 100feet in every vehicle you drive?

Im just saying...drive stuff and enjoy it for what it is. I like something fast as much as the next guy, but if you want something fast buy/drive something fast. Dont chop up something to make it something it wasnt meant to be.


Lets use the 48 ford truck as an example.

If you buy one with a rotted frame, blown motor, used up and otherwise scrap....build to your hearts content.

But if you find one parked in a barn, solid, useable, with good compression and a good frame....get it running, clean it up, and enjoy it.

Thats all im trying to say. Dont hack up something that doesnt need hacked up.

As for owning a new modern vehicle, I really don't want to spend that amount of money, I'm cheap, who cares. Luxuries are nice but do you really need to talk on the phone while driving? There are more important things to do than that.

It's hard to steer, shift and hold onto a phone. My Garmin has hands free in my Ranger and it is glorious. I have a new HU with Bluetooth I am putting in so I don't have to turn the radio down and roll the windows up to hear it in the summer.
