The right hand slip yoke on my truck has an excessive amount of play in it anyways I want to get a good used one from a junkyard so my question is will any right hand slip yokes from any Dana 35 TTB work on any Dana 35 TTB? Things I'm cautioned about is taking one from an Explorer, one with ABS or an auto locking hub model. Thanks

If the splines are stripped you have problems. Other than that, a little play is ok(turning wise).

Well when I grab onto where the male and female ends of the slip yoke meet, I can move it around. Basically there is enough space between the splines of the slip yoke that I can wobble it around. I can see that the splines are worn because on the male end the splines are pointed on top and the splines where the shaft meets the hub, those are somewhat flat on top. Correct me if I'm wrong about the spline issue. I ruled it down to the slip yoke because I changed spindle bearings, seals, u-joints, inspected wheel bearings and hubs and I still get a grinding noise while driving straight and a clunking noise when turning.

If you change one, change the other. If the outer is bad it probably has misshaped the inner.

Yeah the splines on the slip should look like the ones at the hub, the shaft is just a bit bigger diameter at the slip with more splines.

As said, you'll need to replace both sides of the slip.
I would just pick up the parts at a junkyard. Do make sure it's lubed properly with a moly-type CV joint grease though. Lack of lube is primarily what causes spline wear on these things.
