Dana 35 Swap

I am planning on swapping in a Dana 35 into my 86 when time and money permits. right now the the tierod ends are all but shot, if i replace them can i use them when i swap in the 35 or are they different???

I didnt see anything about steering components in the tech library swap

The D35 steering linkage is wider.

yes the linkage is wider, but I don't think it's on the tie rod end side, just looked on oreiley's website and they're the same.

Yeah, the tie rod ends themselves will be the same, but the steering linkage from the D35 is Wider. So to answer your question you could reuse the D28 tie rod ends on a D35 steering linkage

well i greased them and water came out so im going to take it for a drive and see if its better, if not im going to replace them and i will either pull them off when i swap in the 35 or sell them.
