thx

i have that skid plate your talking about. villion moto sports makes them, any wayz this skid plate is bulit proof, when i first put it on i went and found a rock garden i was draging the front diff over every thing and any thing. i drove up on to one that was about 2' high and slid right over, both front tires were well off the ground. the best money i have spent on the D35 so far. get one you will be amaized.

That's how your supposed to test it!

Do they make these for D28 also?

This is my home made D35 guard. I used a pice of f250 3 in spring bent and welded it to the axle beam under the diff as well

Thats not really where you need the protection tho, the part that needs to be protected is the aluminum housing, the diff beam is already pretty thick.

Doesn't hurt to protect the beam too.

I have found that repeated bashing and gouging into rocks very slowly distorts the bottom edge of the beam enough that the seal between the pig and the beam could start leaking. That section of leaf spring welded to the bottom should help there

I would agree though that the aluminum housing still needs to be protected as well.

It appears Villanmotorsports is now more?

Anybody else makings Dana 35 skids currently?

Villanmotorsports was Joel (CopyKat) I don't believe he is making them anymore.

I have a set of his lift brackets and his d35 skid plate. Bombproof.

Maybe talk to Dan @ ruffstuff specialties and see if he might be interesting in doing something.

i want to see a pic of these skid plates the people that have them post up some pics plz
