Didn't really get much pics during the build since it was a weekend project but feel free to ask any questions. . The coils are 9" TJ coils I am in the process of putting together a spring for the rear and just running blocks for now. It drives down the road straight :icon_thumby:
New cross member with center drop out

misc pics

How it sits for now the rear needs some more lift but will achieve that with the new springs

Nice work, it looks really good. Congrats on getting it driveable again.

I have two questions:

1) How are the angles and are the lengths of the trac bar and the steering drag link the same? Do you have another picture from the front?

2) Did you flex the front suspension to their extremes? I would be concerned about the pumpkin interfering with the engine cross member and the driveshaft potentionally hitting the driver side connecting exhaust pipe.

that x-member is beautiful btw

thank you!
1) the angles with the trac bar and steering are within 1.5° of each other right now. We are building a new set up for steering to use 3/4" hiems with 5/8" misalignment spacers and to flatten out the drag link and trac bar a bit, it get a bit of bumpsteer with the angle that it's at.

2)it does look a little deceiving from the pictures but everything does clear with a few inches to spare, the driver side pushes out just a hair and clears the cross member at max flex, I'll try to load a few more pictures of it later

Cool. Sounds good. Eager to see the articulation.

This isn't max flex but it hopefully shows how the axle moves to clear the cross member. .. it's all I could find at the moment and I couldn't go up the log pile anymore without just driving onto it

And actually it would hit the trac bar first any way but those coils compress to their max before it does
