Dana 30 CAD fix

We just shim the shift collar over with 2 dollars worth of washers when we use D30's.

I will say it is a good idea for those that want the CAD to be functional without the vaccum crap.

I just went to the local u-pull lot and got both axles from a grand cherokee that had a 30 without the CAD for 12 bucks an axle. Plus I get the bigger u-joints.

For a few dollars more there is a commercial version that just bolts right in there. Might be worth mentioning that the alloy shift fork can be changed out for a steel version from a dodge something or other, sorry I don't have a part number but I know they exist.

The posilock which was mentioned in the first post.....which sells for 200-250 dollars. This post is about a homebrew 60 dollar version.
