dana 28 to 35 swap questions not answered

You have either a Friday or Monday truck then.

Only if the STX has the Highrider suspension would it have the fixed-yoke 1350 t-case.

Not all STX's with the "highrider" package tog that fixed flange 13-50.

IT was a midyear '88 introduction.

And though they are found in many earlier trucks in the junkyard they are dealer retrofits.

There was a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) and "silent recall" for
NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness) complaints where if someone complained about the vibration that resulted from driving at highway speeds with manual hubs locked the dealer would promise to "Take a look at it" and while it was there they'd swap the T-case and front shaft.

But if the customer didn't complain the dealer would remain "silent"

The "highrider" was REALLY a factory "leveling kit" more
than it was a lift (ALL the unique parts were on the front)
